CDL-A Local Driver

Burns Logistics is hiring CDL-A Local Drivers in the Columbus & Meridian, MS; Tuscaloosa & Russellville, AL area. If you want consistent home time, steady work, and a team that respects your time and experience, this is the place to be.

Burns Logistics is the transportation division of Burns, a well-established and trusted name in the dirt, site work, and construction industry. Originally based out of Columbus, Mississippi, our logistics fleet has grown rapidly in response to customer demand and the need for reliable, professional hauling across North Mississippi and West Alabama.

We operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailer dump trucks, roll-off dumpsters, fuel and lube trucks, tandem and tri-axle dump trucks, and lowboy equipment trailers. Building on our roots in the dirt and construction side of the business, we have expanded to offer hauling services while always being committed to taking care of our drivers, a standard that is rare in this industry. We prioritize respect, support, and steady work for the people who keep our fleet moving.

Position Details

  • Local hauling
  • Day-shift schedule

  • Preference given to drivers with experience hauling dirt and aggregate materials

Requirements

  • Valid CDL-A
  • At least 18 months of CDL-A driving experience- no exceptions
  • Ability to complete pre-employment drug screen, background check, MVR screening, and DOT Clearinghouse query
