Firm Hope Youth and Family Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in North Greece, New York. This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that our patients receive exceptional mental health care. As part of our dynamic counseling team, the Licensed Mental Health Counselor will have the opportunity to work remotely, providing vital services to a variety of communities in the North Greece area. While much of the role is conducted from home, our clinic remains a collaborative hub where therapists engage with each other and coordinate care. Our current remote setting employs advanced telehealth technologies, allowing for seamless communication and service delivery while maintaining confidentiality and patient comfort.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to accurately evaluate the mental health needs of patients, establishing tailored treatment plans based on individual circumstances.
• Deliver empathetic and professional short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and follow-up services for patients experiencing a range of mental health issues.
• Facilitate therapy groups that foster a sense of community and personal development, addressing pertinent topics that resonate with our patient population.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, social workers, and community organizations, ensuring holistic care for each patient.
• Drive outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness within the community through workshops, wellness events, and educational campaigns.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with ethical guidelines, ensuring that all documentation reflects the highest standards of care.

The focus of this position includes working with diverse individuals and families within the North Greece community, ranging from children and adolescents to adults facing various mental health challenges. The therapist will provide services that address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, and adjustment disorders. By offering individualized care, the Licensed Mental Health Counselor will significantly impact the lives of our patients as they navigate their mental health journeys.

• Current state licensure: Eligible candidates must possess an active LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, LMHC, or a PsyD.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• Proven understanding of the unique mental health challenges prevalent among our patient demographics.
• Outstanding communication skills, demonstrating the ability to effectively engage with a diverse patient population and work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities suitable for remote and in-person environments.

• Experience working in a community health setting or with underserved populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and ability to conduct virtual therapy sessions effectively.
• Demonstrated experience managing varied caseloads while maintaining a high standard of care.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
