Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in students' lives? Join us as a Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS) provider and become an integral part of our dedicated team! We are seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) dedicated Special Education Teacher Support Services to work in our Brooklyn locations. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to making a positive impact on a child's educational journey. The SETSS will work with the students, providing personalized instruction and support to help them achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to a student with special needs in their home environment.
  • Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to the student's unique learning needs.
  • Collaborate with the student's parents and other educators to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
  • Monitor and assess the student's progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  • Maintain detailed records of the student's progress and communicate regularly with parents and the Motivated Care Services team.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • New York State certification as a Special Education Teacher.
  • Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a one‑on‑one setting.
  • Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
