Job Summary:
TP-Link Systems Inc. is a global provider of reliable networking devices and smart home products, committed to delivering innovative products that enhance connectivity. They are seeking a Product Manager, Home Networking to support the development and lifecycle management of next-generation home networking products, collaborating across teams to ensure successful product launches.
Responsibilities:
• Support the definition and development of consumer home networking products across multiple categories, including Mesh systems, Routers, Extenders, Portable Wi-Fi, Accessories, and Broadband Access Gateways
• Assist in managing products throughout the full product development lifecycle, from concept and planning through launch and final shipment
• Write and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and product specifications for hardware, firmware, app, and cloud-related features
• Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and trend evaluations to identify opportunities for product improvement and differentiation
• Help identify real consumer pain points and translate customer needs into actionable product solutions
• Collaborate closely with R&D and QA teams to communicate requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, prioritize features, and support product decision-making
• Coordinate with PMO, manufacturing, industrial design, supply chain, vendors, and business stakeholders to support successful product execution and delivery
• Support launch planning, feature validation, readiness coordination, and cross-functional communication activities
• Analyze customer feedback and market trends to recommend feature enhancements and product optimizations
• Participate in discussions around emerging technologies, including AI integrations and next-generation wireless networking standards
• Help drive product quality, usability, security, performance, and customer experience improvements
• Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams to help drive projects forward and ensure alignment
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field required
• 3–4 years of product management experience, preferably within consumer home networking, connected devices, smart home, or related technology industries
• Experience writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and translating business requirements into actionable product specifications
• Basic understanding of consumer home networking technologies, including routers, extenders, mesh systems, wireless standards, and cloud-connected services
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience conducting competitive analysis and market research within consumer technology or networking markets
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Highly proactive with a willingness to take initiative, contribute ideas, and drive execution independently
• Passion for emerging consumer networking technologies and product innovation
Preferred:
• Experience working on consumer networking, IoT, or connected device products
• Familiarity with firmware, mobile applications, or cloud-connected product ecosystems
• Exposure to AI-enabled consumer technologies or next-generation wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi 7 or Wi-Fi 8
• Experience working in cross-functional product development environments involving hardware and software collaboration
• Understanding of go-to-market concepts, customer behavior, or consumer product positioning
