This is a PRN Role

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, adhering to professional nursing standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Assess patient needs, develop, and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate and provide continuity of care.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Respond to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients' health history, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Stay current with advances in nursing practices and attend training programs and continuing education to enhance professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed or registered by the applicable state without restrictions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
  • One year of home health experience required
  • Must have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must have a current CPR certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer skill proficiency. Ability to use Microsoft Windows.

Background Screening Requirement: Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements.
