We are seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to support client intake, clinical compliance, caregiver competency oversight, and ongoing client management on an as-needed basis.

This role provides flexible scheduling based on client volume and agency needs. This is not a bedside hospital position.

Schedule & Structure

โ€ข Per diem / as-needed basis โ€ข Flexible scheduling โ€ข Hours vary depending on client intake volume and regulatory needs โ€ข Ideal for RNs seeking supplemental income or schedule flexibility

Key Responsibilities

Client Intake & Assessments

โ€ข Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments (in-home or virtual) โ€ข Evaluate client needs, risks, and service appropriateness โ€ข Develop, review, and update individualized care plans

Compliance & Clinical Oversight

โ€ข Ensure compliance with Minnesota home care regulations โ€ข Support documentation standards and audit readiness โ€ข Participate in surveys and quality improvement activities

Caregiver Competency & Training

โ€ข Conduct competency evaluations and skills assessments โ€ข Review and sign off on required documentation โ€ข Provide clinical guidance to caregivers and CNAs

Clinical Support

โ€ข Provide phone guidance for urgent care questions โ€ข Assist with changes in condition โ€ข Document and escalate issues appropriately

Required Qualifications

โ€ข Active Minnesota RN license โ€ข Minimum 3 years of nursing experience โ€ข Strong assessment and documentation skills โ€ข Ability to work independently โ€ข Reliable transportation for local travel
