Job description

CDL-A CONESTOGA DRIVER
HIRING AREA: NATIONWIDE - ALL 48 STATES
OPEN-DECK MONEY WITHOUT TARPING EVERY LOAD.
If you've spent time around flatbed and open-deck freight, you understand why Conestoga work gets attention.
You still need the experience and judgment to handle open-deck freight correctly, but the rolling-tarp system can make a major difference when you're protecting freight and working in bad weather.
Truck Driver Nation is currently reviewing experienced CDL-A drivers nationwide for qualifying OTR Conestoga opportunities.
WHAT CAN THE POSITION PAY?
Select current Conestoga opportunities offer:
• 27%-29% compensation
• Weekly pay
• Direct deposit
• Strong mileage availability
• Consistent OTR freight opportunities
Percentage compensation, freight revenue, miles, and resulting earnings depend on the specific position, freight availability, driver qualifications, and operating conditions. Earnings are not guaranteed.
THE TRUCK MATTERS TOO
Qualifying openings may offer:
• 2022-2026 Freightliners
• 2022-2026 Volvos
• Conestoga equipment
• OTR equipment designed for extended operations
Specific truck and equipment availability depends on the position and equipment available when the driver starts.
HOME TIME: THREE WEEKS OUT / ONE WEEK HOME
Select current opportunities operate approximately:
• 3 weeks OTR
• 1 week scheduled home time
Specific home-time arrangements will be confirmed before moving forward with a position.
WHERE CAN YOU LIVE?
This opportunity has a nationwide hiring area covering all 48 states.
The primary Breezy posting location does not limit the overall driver hiring area. Qualified CDL-A drivers from throughout the United States may apply for consideration based on the requirements of the available position.
WHERE WILL YOU RUN?
Select current openings operate throughout all 48 states.
Drivers on qualifying openings are not required to run the West Coast or New York.
Exact lanes and operating areas depend on the specific position, freight availability, driver location, and operating requirements.
WHO WE WANT TO HEAR FROM
This opportunity is designed for experienced CDL-A drivers who understand the additional responsibility involved with open-deck freight.
Qualifying applicants should have:
• Valid Class A CDL
• Current medical card
• Approximately 2+ years CDL-A experience
• CDL held for at least 2 years on qualifying positions
• Good driving record
• OTR availability
• Professional and dependable communication
• Ability to meet DOT and applicable motor-carrier qualification standards
Flatbed, Conestoga, Step Deck, securement, or other open-deck experience is strongly preferred.
Current qualifying positions associated with this opportunity do not accept SAP drivers.
TRAVEL TO GET STARTED
Travel is provided on select qualifying opportunities.
Exact travel arrangements, orientation requirements, and related details will be confirmed with qualified drivers before they accept a specific position.
WHY CONESTOGA?
Experienced open-deck drivers know the job is about more than pulling a trailer down the highway.
Freight securement matters. Equipment matters. Weather matters. The lanes matter. Home time matters. And most importantly, the complete compensation package has to make financial sense for the work you're doing.
That's why we want to understand what you're looking for before matching you with an available position.
APPLY FOR CONSIDERATION
Apply directly through this posting.
Truck Driver Nation will review your CDL experience, open-deck background, driving record, location, equipment experience, operating preferences, and home-time requirements against applicable current driving opportunities.
Submitting an application does not guarantee placement. Final qualification and acceptance are subject to the requirements and approval of the applicable motor carrier.
