We currently have an opening in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office for REVIT specialist.


Under the general supervision of the Principal-in-Charge of the office, the REVIT Specialist is responsible for maintaining and updating CES REVIT templates and families firm-wide, with a specific focus on the local CES office. The REVIT Specialist will also help to develop, teach and maintain the REVIT policies and procedures for the firm, with a specific focus on the local CES office needs and standards. The REVIT Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting BIM models, and serving as the main point of contact between the local CES office and CES’ clients for all BIM projects. This position may also prepare technical documents by drafting designs for Engineering teams.


Essential Functions

       ·         Maintain and update REVIT templates

       ·         Maintain and update REVIT families

       ·         Manage software updates for all users

       ·         Develop and administer office wide REVIT standards, policies and procedures

       ·         Support CES technical staff in REVIT software

       ·         Meet with clients’ BIM managers and other technical staff to setup and coordinate sharing and collaborative model setup

       ·         Troubleshoot REVIT models and coordination with clients’ models

       ·         Assist project teams in with REVIT project setup

       ·         Create, manage and perform quality control checks on REVIT models

       ·         Train the CES staff in the use of REVIT, as needed

       ·         Support REVIT users, as needed (multiple offices)

       ·         Support other teams REVIT needs, coordination, etc.


Qualifications:

·       Must have at least 5 years of experience working with REVIT

·       Must have an Associates degree or similar training and certification in the use of REVIT, such as Autodesk Certified Professional for Mechanical or Electrical design.

·       Willingness to learn more about REVIT and to share his or her knowledge with other CES employees

·       Must be able to handle multiple tasks from users across multiple offices

·       This role requires an individual who possesses strong communication skills, is highly organized, and has the willingness and ability to adjust to constantly changing priorities.

·       Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Word and Excel.

 

Must be able to work without current or future employment sponsorship.
