Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position focused on pediatric school services is available in Newberg, OR. This contract role supports students in grades K-5, providing on-site therapy five days per week during the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities encompass delivering comprehensive speech and language evaluations and individualized therapy sessions targeting childhood communication disorders. The role requires direct interaction with students to address speech sound production, language development, and other related areas within the educational setting.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Specialized expertise in pediatric speech-language intervention
  • Familiarity with telespeech therapy practices beneficial
  • Prior experience working exclusively with school-aged children (K-5)
  • Ability to manage full-time caseload without support from Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) or Clinical Fellows (CF)

This position carries a leave period from August 24 through December 7, 2026, with the remainder of the school year requiring full-time onsite commitment.
