Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

As a Home Health Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you'll have the opportunity to provide personalized, one-on-one care where children thrive—their own homes. You'll evaluate and treat children with speech, language, feeding, and swallowing needs while building meaningful relationships with patients and families. Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date
  • One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Experience supervising assistants is preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's unique needs
  • Provide speech therapy services addressing communication, articulation, language development, feeding, and swallowing skills
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support continued growth
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to promote carryover at home
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated, high-quality care
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
