Job Description

Title: Oracle Fusion Developer

Location: Newark, New Jersey

Duration: 6 Months (contract to hire)


Job Description:

Summary: This senior developer position works independently to develop, implement, and maintain complex technology solutions. This position, with minimal supervision, is responsible for leading programming activities related to business applications including the analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of computer software systems and/or enhancements that meet business needs and requirements. Position resides in IT BSG Casualty group.


Responsibilities: 

Review business requirement documents (BRD) and translate into technical specifications

Work from technical specifications to independently develop, modify and maintain complex software products

Analyze and troubleshoot problems and make recommendations for remediation

Provide status updates to management

Leads design/code reviews, architecture discussions and infrastructure reviews

Mentors staff

Assigns work and directs staff in the production of work product

Directly interacts with internal customers and manages customer expectations

Manages interactions with external vendors

Formulates and manages system scope, objectives and cost for assigned project

Perform Tier Two Production Support as required

Performs other duties as assigned by management



Qualifications: 

Education/Experience:

Requires a minimum of eight (8) years of software application development and maintenance experience using Java technologies.

Requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems.

Requires minimum two (2) years of strong experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies, namely, SOA composites, BPEL 2.0, BPMN 2.0, Mediator, Business Rules, and BPM.

Requires experience on WebCenter Portal / ADF development and WebCenter Content. 

Requires experience in using / integrating WebLogic, OWSM, Oracle HTTP Server (OHS). 


Additional licensing, certifications, registrations

Oracle certifications preferred


Knowledge

Requires expert knowledge of software development life cycle methodology

Must be proficient in Java and Oracle SOA Suite.

Prefer knowledge of Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle Access Manager OAM), Oracle SQL and PL/SQL. 

Requires knowledge of coding best practices. 

Requires knowledge of relational database management systems

Demonstrates ability to apply structure to a loosely defined problem

Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and supporting software in a Windows based environment, including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Lotus Notes. 

Must be proficient in the use of intranet and internet applications.

Requires knowledge of client server and web development.
