Job description

CA&M, Inc. a small business dedicated to providing exceptional creative talent that supports federal training programs, is currently accepting resumes from Actors in the San Diego area to support Role Player programs in San Diego. We are looking for actors that are comfortable with script and scripted improvisations in training setting. We are looking for actors that have trained and performed semi-professionally and/or professional actors, with an emphasis on live performance and Standardized Patient/Role Player work. Actors must also be comfortable with providing feedback and working with teams to reconstruct events during the structured improvisation. Additionally, actors must be comfortable with a wide range of scenarios, including foreign language-based scenarios. All talent encouraged to apply.
Actors should be comfortable:
  • Memorizing scripts, memorizing scenarios and faithfully delivering accurate facts based on the script and scenario described.
  • Understanding the training objectives and working with learners to support new skills development
  • Provide feedback in the prescribed manner, and in a positive way.
  • Be on time, professional, and are able to take notes and adjust quickly.
