This onsite role allows for direct engagement with patients, fostering real-time support and guidance throughout their rehabilitation journey, while maintaining typical work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify individual goals, obstacles, and physical limitations.
- Design and implement personalized treatment plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
- Continuously monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment approaches as required to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide guidance on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care for patients dealing with orthopedic conditions.
- Engage in professional development by keeping current with industry trends, attending educational workshops, and participating in team meetings.
Our primary focus is on patients suffering from orthopedic injuries and conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain syndromes, and sports-related injuries. You will work with a diverse patient population that varies in age and activity level, ensuring an inclusive approach that empowers each individual on their path to recovery.
Qualifications- A Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
- An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, adhering to all regulatory standards.
- A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, specifically in the management and treatment of orthopedic conditions.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and evidence-based orthopedic rehabilitation methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with patients and collaborate with team members.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management.
- Familiarity with advanced therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to myofascial release, dry needling, or kinesiology taping.
- Certification in specialized treatment approaches such as orthopedic manual therapy (OMT) is a plus.
