Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Commercial HVAC Maintenance Sales Representative to join our growing service team in Portland, Oregon. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing client relationships for commercial HVAC preventive maintenance agreements and service solutions.
The ideal candidate has experience in commercial HVAC service sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to build long-term partnerships with property managers, facility directors, building owners, and general contractors throughout the Portland metro area.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new commercial HVAC maintenance and service accounts.
  • Generate and manage preventive maintenance agreement sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with property managers, facility managers, building owners, and contractors.
  • Conduct site visits and assess client HVAC service and maintenance needs.
  • Prepare proposals, maintenance agreements, and service presentations.
  • Collaborate with service managers and technicians to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Identify retrofit, repair, replacement, and energy efficiency opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and customers to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
  • Track sales activity and pipeline management within CRM software.
  • Attend networking events, industry functions, and client meetings as needed.
  • Stay informed on market trends, mechanical systems, and local construction activity.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of sales experience in commercial HVAC, mechanical services, facilities services, or related industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Existing relationships within the Portland metro commercial real estate and facilities management market.
  • Experience selling maintenance agreements, service contracts, or energy solutions.
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment, controls, and building automation systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred but not required.
