Neurologist Opportunity at University of Michigan Health-West

University of Michigan Health-West, a leader in healthcare in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a full-time Neurologist to join our expanding, academic hybrid team. High caliber, quality focused, innovative providers should apply to join our care team of both physicians and advanced practice providers to expand and provide care to local communities. Michigan Medicine and University of Michigan Health systems create an opportunity for program collaboration, mentorship, and research if desired.

Candidate will need to coordinate and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for all patients, families, and staff.

•Ability to work closely with a partnering team of specialists encompassing 37+ specialty care and hospital-based service lines

•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including, surgeons, radiologists, and advanced practice providers to develop individualized treatment plans.

•Comprehensive Stroke Center

•Sub-specialized ambulatory group, general neurology, sports neurology, movement disorder, epilepsy

•Diagnostic testing capabilities

•Outpatient opportunity; Diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of adult neurological conditions including headache, epilepsy, stroke, neuropathy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, dementia, and neuromuscular disorders.

•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging therapies and clinical trial opportunities for patients.

•Educate and mentor medical students, residents if desired

•Develop strong relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and guidance throughout their treatment journey.
