Lead Electrician for Marine Company

Location: Dania Beach / Fort Lauderdale, Florida

Position Overview

An established marine electrical company is seeking an experienced Lead Marine Electrician to join their team in South Florida. This is a full-time position for a highly skilled professional who can independently troubleshoot complex electrical issues, oversee projects, and support installations across multiple job sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot marine electrical systems and resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Lead and oversee electrical projects from start to completion
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously throughout the South Florida area
  • Install, service, and maintain marine electrical systems
  • Work with solar power systems, lithium battery installations, and charging systems
  • Ensure all work is completed to ABYC standards
  • Coordinate with team members and clients
  • Occasional travel along the U.S. East Coast may be possible

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of marine electrical experience (10+ years preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential
  • Experience with solar systems and lithium battery installations
  • Hands-on experience with Victron products and systems
  • Current ABYC certification required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week

Compensation & Benefits
