What Your Day-to-Day Will Entail
  • Performing in-depth patient evaluations, facilitating necessary diagnostic exams, and crafting personalized care strategies
  • Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health issues, either independently or in collaboration with physicians depending on your credentials
  • Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, preventative care, and comprehensive disease management
  • Prescribing treatments and medications as permitted by your scope of practice
  • Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic disease management
  • Working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment to ensure consistent and holistic patient care
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Educational Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Necessary Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Nevada
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialization
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain them within 90 days)
