Senior HVAC Designer / Engineer position in Orange County, CA We are a large, growing Plumbing and HVAC Mechanical Contractor currently hiring for an HVAC Designer/Engineer. This is a permanent position with a great salary and benefits package. Responsibilities: Work with our Engineering and Design teams on current and future hvac drawings and engineering load calculations Review and Design hvac systems within drawings provided by Architects and Owners Build ISO and Fab Drawings Work closely with Engineering, Design and BIM teams Design layouts for ductwork, piping systems, chilled water, hot water, air handling systems, heat rejection systems, and other mechanical systems Coordinate with other internal teams and external trades in BIM Coordination meetings Requirements: Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering EIT or PE License LEED AP Certification HVAC Engineering and Design experience Advanced knowledge of CA PHVAC Codes and ASHRAE requirements Working experience for Mechanical/HVAC contractor and/or MEP Design Engineer firm Large project experience working on Schools, Healthcare-OSHPD, high-rises, hotels, and/or airports Local to Orange County Technical Requirements: AutoCAD AutoCAD MEP Trane Trace 700 Carrier HAP Revit Navisworks BlueBeam Autodesk Fabrication Trimble/Quickpen.
