This position will operate primarily in a home care setting within the Charlottesville area, where you will engage with patients directly in their living environments. Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients with orthopedic impairments, including post-operative rehabilitation, frailty, and chronic pain management. You will work with a diverse demographic, catering to individuals of all ages, from young athletes recovering from injuries to elderly clients aiming to regain their mobility and independence. Your role is crucial in supporting these individuals on their journey to recovery, ensuring that treatment plans are culturally sensitive and respectful to each patient's unique background.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy is required, emphasizing a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation theories and practices.
  • Active licensure in the state of Virginia is a must, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective patient education and collaboration with other healthcare providers.

Compensation and Benefits
