Field Technician - High Voltage Data Collector

Location: Multiple Marine Bases - National & International
Job Type: Project Assignment
Pay Rate: $35-$60/hour
Project: Supporting the U.S. Navy / NAVFAC
Travel: Required | Lodging, Travel & Per Diem Provided
Project Duration: Varies

Position Overview

Weare seeking experienced Field Technicians for this assignment as High Voltage Data Collectors to support utility and electrical infrastructure datacollection services.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-voltage environment and in GIS/GPS field data collection.

NETA certificationpreferred.

Key Responsibilities

        Datacollection of high-voltage transformers and electrical equipment.

        Collecttransformer nameplate information, ratings, serial numbers, condition, andlocation.

        Performfield data collection, photographs, and equipment documentation.

        Maywork around energized/high-voltage equipment following electrical safetyprocedures.

Qualifications

        3+ years of experience with high-voltage systems and transformers.

        Understanding of high-voltage electrical safety practices.

        Ability to read electrical drawingsand equipment nameplates.

        NETA, NFPA70E, OHSA 30 Certification
