The UX Designer is responsible for leading user research, product discovery, interaction design, and usability efforts for web and mobile applications. Working closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, business stakeholders, and development teams, this role uncovers user needs, validates business assumptions, and translates insights into intuitive, user-centered experiences. The UX Designer serves as the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, using research and data to influence product strategy, improve usability, and drive customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include conducting user research, facilitating workshops, creating personas, journey maps, information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes, and validating solutions through usability testing and iterative design. What You Will Do

  • Lead user research activities, including customer interviews, stakeholder interviews, surveys, usability testing, contextual inquiry, and prototype validation.

  • Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to understand business objectives, user needs, and product requirements.

  • Lead product discovery efforts to identify customer pain points, unmet needs, opportunities, and experience improvements.

  • Synthesize research findings into personas, journey maps, service blueprints, experience maps, and actionable recommendations.

  • Define information architecture, navigation structures, workflows, and interaction models for complex web and mobile applications.

  • Create user flows, wireframes, storyboards, and low- to mid-fidelity prototypes using Figma and other UX tools.

  • Facilitate design thinking workshops, discovery sessions, and collaborative ideation activities with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Apply user-centered design methodologies to rapidly test, iterate, and refine solutions based on user feedback and business priorities.

  • Establish hypotheses, success metrics, and validation plans to assess the effectiveness of proposed experiences.

  • Identify usability issues and experience gaps and develop thoughtful, scalable solutions that improve customer outcomes.

  • Advocate for accessibility, usability, and customer-centered decision making throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Collaborate closely with UI Designers to ensure research insights and intended interactions are accurately reflected in final visual designs.

  • Communicate research findings, design recommendations, project status, opportunities, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Stay current with UX research methodologies, design trends, accessibility standards, and industry best practices.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UX research, product discovery, interaction design, information architecture, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing across web and mobile applications.

  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking methodologies, interaction design, and experience design best practices.

  • Experience planning, facilitating, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative user research.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, insights, opportunities, and root causes through customer research and behavioral data.

  • Proficiency with Figma and modern UX design and prototyping tools.

  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and effective user experiences.

  • Experience creating personas, journey maps, workflows, user flows, wireframes, and validation prototypes.

  • Understanding of responsive design principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and inclusive design practices.

  • Ability to influence product strategy and decision-making through customer insights and evidence-based recommendations.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional Agile teams.

  • Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments with evolving priorities.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design, Human Factors, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Information Science, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field required.
