BrandStories, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Editorial Assistant to join our newsroom team. The successful candidate will support tasks such as research, fact verification, proofreading, managing editorial schedules, and preparing content for both print and digital publications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and verify facts for editorial materials.

  • Support editorial calendar management and newsroom coordination.
  • Prepare content suitable for print and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with writers, contributors, and internal teams.
  • Monitor assignments, deadlines, and the progress of stories.
  • Organize and maintain editorial documents and archives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated passion for storytelling and a commitment to social causes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems.
