Job description

Coater

Understand run schedules; ensure proper size of glass before loading on-line; stage product of glass on a coating machine loading conveyor; unload sheets of glass from conveyor onto rack; remove glass from racks; wrap, prepare and tag racks for shipping. Use of various PIT’s.

Cutting Line

Break out the cut-to-size pieces of glass from large sheets; remove scrap pieces of glass from cutting table and dispose of in designated waste receptacles; convey glass to tempering furnace. Use of various PIT’s.

Tempering

Stage pieces of glass onto conveyer to be process through tempering furnace; measure and label glass pieces at the end of the tempering process with customer information; remove tempered glass pieces from conveyor and place on racks; convey to packaging station; prepare glass for shipment. Use of various PIT’s.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to pass 10 panel pre-employment drug screen including cannabis due to the safety sensitivity of work
  • Ability to pass post offer background check
  • Ability to pass pre-employment agility testing
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stand, walk, for 12-hour shifts
  • Movement of materials and various glass products within the warehouse and workstations both manually and using various Powered Industrial Equipment
  • Ability to understand and program automated production equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour

Day Shift [40 hours/week]: $20.00/hour starting + (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members = $63,232*

Night Shift [40 hours/week]:$22.00/hour starting + (up to) 52% of gross monthly earnings for full-time team members =$69,555.20*
