Job description

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer/Senior GIS Support Specialist to provide development and Tier 1-3 technical support for a large-scale Enterprise GIS environment. This role is hands-on and best suited for a senior professional with deep experience supporting, administering, and enhancing ArcGIS and ArcFM-based systems in enterprise and utility environments.
You will work closely with the internal technical teams and client SMEs to maintain system stability, deploy enhancements, and resolve complex issues across mission-critical GIS applications.

  • Candidates must meet all required technical skills

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support for ArcGISFM-based Enterprise GIS applications
  • Develop and implement minor enhancements using:
    โ€ข Python
    โ€ข AngularJS
    โ€ข ArcGIS JavaScript API
    โ€ข ASP.NET (C#)
  • support Landbase GIS applications, including new development and troubleshooting
  • Deploy and administer ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal and Server)
  • Administer ArcGIS Server sites, user roles, and privileges
  • Publish GIS services and manage access controls
  • Perform system monitoring and performance tuning
  • Coordinate with server, security, database (DBA), and infrastructure teams
  • Provide ticket status updates to client SMEs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by enterprise GIS end users
  • Document best practices and share lessons learned with the broader team

This is an hourly position with opportunity for overtime.

Mandatory Qualifications: (Please read carefully. They MUST be shown on your resume)
  • 5-10 years of experience administering, supporting, and developing ArcGIS applications
  • 5-10 years of experience administering and supporting AcrFM applications
  • Strong development experience with:
    โ€ข Python
    โ€ข AngularJS
    โ€ข ArcGIS JavaScript API
    โ€ข .NET (C#)
  • Proven experience deploying and administering ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal & Server)
  • Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and service publishing
  • Strong ability to collaborate across technical teams (server, security, DBA, etc.)
  • Ability to understand requirements and independently support enterprise applications
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills
Additional/Preferred Skills
  • Utility industry experience (electric, gas, or energy environments)
  • Windows Server administration experience
  • FME Suite experience supporting regulated or enterprise-scale environments
Technical Skills (MUST HAVE):
