Job description

As an Inspector - Level 4 (1st Shift) here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products and processes within our operations. You will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, identifying defects or deviations, and ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications.
You will report directly to our Quality Manager and you'll work out of our Norcross, GA location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency by maintaining rigorous inspection standards and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform detailed inspections of products and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. This includes receiving inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection. Perform first article inspection per AS9102.
  • Identify and document defects, deviations, and non-conformities, and communicate findings to relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. Support the Machine Shop and Assembly Labs with accurate, timely and relevant inspection data.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Experience in quality inspection within manufacturing or production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality standards, and measurement tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ASME Y14.4, specifications, and quality documentation.
  • Proficiency with inspection equipment and quality management systems.
  • Proficiency with operating and programming CMM.

  • 3+ years of experience in quality inspection or related roles.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO or AS9100 is a plus.
