We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Intermediate Software Engineer to join our team!

Description:

This position is a development position on a cleared program supporting a production product, and will work on a scrum team tasked with development and maintenance of the current and planned capabilities. Candidates applying for this position must be actively TS cleared, as well as be willing and able to work on-site. Successful candidates for this position will have training (BS) in a science or technology-related discipline, multiple years of experience in software engineering, and previous experience working within a team environment utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or other agile software methodologies and processes. The ideal candidate will also have experience with at least one of JavaScript (front-end frameworks preferred), Java, or the Python programming languages. The candidate is expected to collaborate cross-functionally with subcontractors, local engineers, and geographically dispersed teammates.

Requirements:

    Title: Software Engineer
    Level: Intermediate Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer
    Education Minimums: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
    Clearence: Must have active Top Secret Clearance
    Location: Must be willing to work full-time on-site

Desired Skills:

    Minimum 1 year of software development experience including experience with Javascript (NodeJs) and 4-7 years combined programming experience in Python, C++, Jave, etc.
    Prior experience working with AWS/C2S
    Experience using Docker, Lambda, and cloud-native services
    Experience working on a Development team within SAFe or other Agile Release Trains
    Experience with Git and contributing to open-source projects
    Demonstrated experience working across multiple teams and job functions; bridging both sustainment and enhancement priorities
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Strong interpersonal skills
    Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment
    Location: 80% Onsite, Herndon, VA

Security Clearance Required: Minimum Top Secret required to start

Pay: $101,311.50 - $195,916.45 per year
