Employer: Angie’s Drapery Workroom

Location: Rockville 

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 / hour

Job description:


The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-focused, highly motivated, and comfortable following production guidelines. You will be responsible for sewing soft home furnishings, window treatments, and upholstery using industrial equipment. Training on our specific workroom techniques and standards will be provided.

Responsibilities

Sew custom drapes, upholstery cushions, throw pillows, and related fabric products

Operate industrial sewing equipment safely, efficiently, and accurately

Measure, cut, and assemble fabrics and components according to project specs

Ensure high-quality craftsmanship, accuracy, and strong attention to detail

Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly sewing workspace

Collaborate smoothly with team members in a active workroom environment

Meet task deadlines and maintain steady production schedules


Qualifications

•⁠ ⁠At least one year of sewing experience is required


Schedule


Workplace Flexibility: (4 days, 32 hours/week). Choose your daily start time (Daily shifts are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM). Plus, get a dedicated day off each week on a rotating schedule!


Compensation

Hourly pay is based on experience and demonstrated skill level. Performance-based bonus opportunities may be available.
