Job Description: Corporate Development ManagerThis is a remote, work from home position working 20 hours per week.We are targeting a base of $20/hour and bonus per successful acquisition.Job Description
As Corporate Development Manager, you will be an essential part of our dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions (โ€œM&Aโ€) team. Your main goal will be perform cold outreach via calls and emails to connect with owners of other health & benefits brokers to educate them on the potential of partnering with OPOC via acquisition, qualify opportunities, set quality meetings with OPOCโ€™s VP of Corporate Development & CEO, and track activity in a CRM system.What You'll Do
Perform research to identify potential acquisition targets
Perform cold outreach to connect with small-to-midsize brokers of group health insurance & employee benefits
Educate potential target on our differentiators
Schedule meetings between qualified targets and OPOCโ€™s VP of Corporate Development & CEO
Keep records of activities in our CRMPerformance Goal:
Schedule 3 meetings per weekWhat We're Looking For
Strong phone skills โ€“ ability to build rapport and handle objections
Proven telemarketing experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targetsSalesforce experience requiredExperience in B2B or B2C telemarketing is a plus
Experience in M&A is a plus
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales toolsProject Management skills, a plusAbility to thrive in a positive and high-energy environmentMany of our top performing team members came from other professions before joining OPOC.us; some of their backgrounds include

Previous success in performance-based sales or customer service a plus.
Comfortable interacting with C-suite decision makers and business owners.
The ability to learn databases, CRM or other software to track prospect progress.
Ability to convey the benefits of OPOCโ€™s products and services confidently and clearly.
Proven experience and comfort with speaking roles in zoom meetings and phone calls.
Candidates must be self-motivated and responsible.
