Work Environment

This position primarily operates in a home care setting, where you will visit patients in their residences across Riverside and the surrounding areas. We provide a supportive workplace equipped with the necessary tools to enable effective patient evaluations and treatments tailored to each individual's needs. The full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients to evaluate their physical condition, medical history, functional limitations, and personal goals for recovery.
• Develop customized treatment plans based on assessment findings that align with each patient’s specific circumstances and aspirations.
• Facilitate open communication with patients to help them understand their care journey, fostering agreement and commitment to the proposed treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities, including progressive exercise prescription, manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic education to optimize patient outcomes.
• Continuously monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their conditions or responses to therapy.
• Maintain meticulous records of the services rendered, adhering to legal and professional standards to ensure quality care and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients seeking orthopedic rehabilitation, ranging from post-surgical recovery to chronic pain management. You will work with a diverse population, including elderly patients, athletes, and individuals recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries. Your expertise in manual therapy and exercise regimens will be instrumental in helping clients regain strength, mobility, and confidence in their physical capabilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of California.
• A clean professional record, free of any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• A minimum of three years' experience specializing in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced manual therapy techniques.
• Experience in developing and implementing personalized exercise regimens tailored to patient needs.
• Strong communication skills that enhance the therapeutic relationship and encourage patient engagement.

Compensation and Benefits
