You will be responsible for developing validation plans, driving automation, establishing scalable processes, and ensuring the quality and reliability of complex hardware and software systems.

In this leadership role, you will balance engineering priorities, customer expectations, and product delivery timelines while fostering a high-performing validation organization focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software validation plans and strategies based on functional requirements.
  • Define and oversee validation activities throughout the software development lifecycle, from manual exploratory testing to fully automated regression test suites.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks and validation infrastructure.
  • Configure and maintain continuous integration (CI) systems, monitor test results, and drive timely triage of validation failures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across system, network, hardware, and software layers.
  • Establish validation processes, metrics, dashboards, and reporting to measure product quality and team effectiveness.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of validation plans, test procedures, execution results, and release readiness.
  • Partner closely with hardware, firmware, software, and product engineering teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve defects.
  • Drive continuous improvements in validation methodologies, automation, tooling, and best practices.
  • Support product qualification efforts to ensure successful customer deployments and product releases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience leading technical teams responsible for validation and qualification of complex networking, distributed systems, or comparable hardware and software platforms.
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling a system validation organization, including defining processes, automation strategies, tooling, and quality metrics.
  • Strong understanding of software validation methodologies, test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and defect management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering organizations and present status, risks, and metrics to executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI technologies to improve validation engineering through AI-assisted development, intelligent automation, and data-driven analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior networking experience (e.g., Omni-Path, InfiniBand, Ethernet).
  • Prior Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience.
  • Familiarity with testing of distributed systems and routing/switching concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

Location: This is a remote position for employees residing within the United States.

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes equity, cash, and incentives, along with health and retirement benefits. Our dynamic, flexible work environment provides the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most influential names in the semiconductor industry.
