Job description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support physician and medical staff
  • EMR Experience (Epic preferred)
  • Communicate with insurance companies for proper authorizations
  • Escort patients to the exam room for history, Vitas, medicines, ECG, etc.
  • Perform telephone/messaging appropriate follow-up
  • Respect and maintain privacy and confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High school or equivalent required (college preferred)
  • Previous experience in the healthcare field (Internal medicine preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
  • Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA) is preferred

Working location: One location.

Working Schedule: start from Part-time.

Office hours:

Mon, Tue, Fri, 12:30-5:30

Wed and Thu, 8-12:30

WFH hours:

Mon, Tue, Fri, 8:30-11:30

Wed and Thu, 1:30-5:30
