  • Define and enforce standards for program/project management (intake, scoping, planning, RAID, stage gates, and closeout), ensuring consistency and auditability
  • Lead enterprise demand management, partnering with business leaders to shape requests into clear charters, resourcing plans, and value-based priorities
  • Own integrated portfolio reporting (schedule, budget, risks, dependencies, benefits) and deliver executive-ready dashboards and narratives for steering committees
  • Establish capacity and resource management practices across PMs, BAs, product/application teams, and vendors
  • Standardize toolsets and ways of working to improve performance

Operational Excellence & Risk Management
  • Accountable for application reliability, performance, security posture, and vendor risk across the portfolio
  • Ensure effective lifecycle management for all applications (projects, enhancements, support, and sunsetting)
  • Act as the senior escalation point for critical application issues and business-impacting incidents

Technology Enablement & Innovation

People Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Lead and develop Directors, Managers, and senior application leaders
  • Build a high-performing, business-oriented applications organization with clear accountability and ownership
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and modern skill adoption across the team

Vendor & Partner Management
  • Own strategic vendor relationships and system integrators across the application ecosystem
  • Ensure vendors deliver against contractual obligations, roadmaps, and Armada's business expectations
  • Guide sourcing decisions and manage total cost of ownership

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Direct leadership of Directors and Managers responsible for:
    • Shared Service Applications (ERP, JDE, UKG)
    • Operations (WMS, TMS, IMS)
    • Commercial (Salesforce)
    • Business Analysis / BRM capabilities
    • PMO
  • Oversight of third-party and managed service partners supporting application delivery and operations

Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience supporting enterprise business applications
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale application portfolios in complex, operationally intensive environments
  • Strong background in ERP and supply chain systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, Finance, HR)

Core Competencies
  • Executive-level business and IT leadership credibility

  • Deep understanding of the full application lifecycle (strategy, delivery, support, retirement)
  • Proven ability to lead transformation while maintaining operational stability
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Success Measures
  • Business satisfaction and partnership effectiveness
