Location: Napoleonville, LA | Onsite
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday

Chateau Napoleon Nursing and Rehabilitation, part of the Volare Health portfolio of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers, is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to join our team.

The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily financial and administrative operations of the facility while ensuring accurate billing, timely claims submission, insurance coordination, Medicaid processes, and effective accounts receivable management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage daily business office operations for a skilled nursing facility.
  • Ensure billing processes are completed accurately and within required timelines.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, collections, and aging reports to support timely payment resolution.
  • Review accounts receivable reports and communicate outstanding account concerns to facility leadership.
  • Process billing documentation and ensure timely submission of claims.
  • Coordinate with the Central Billing Office regarding outstanding claims, billing issues, and collection efforts.
  • Verify resident insurance coverage and coordinate with insurance providers to maintain accurate coverage information.
  • Manage Medicaid-related processes and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with Medicaid pending applications and follow up on required documentation to support timely processing.
  • Maintain accurate resident financial records.
  • Assist with accounts payable processes and other facility business office functions.
  • Work closely with facility leadership to ensure compliance with company policies, payer requirements, and sound business practices.
  • Communicate financial responsibilities and payment expectations with residents and families in a professional and compassionate manner.
Qualifications
  • Required: Previous Medicaid and skilled nursing/nursing home business office experience.
  • Medicaid pending applications experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Insurance verification and billing experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with accounts receivable, collections, claims processing, or resident financial services preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with facility leadership and corporate partners.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and business office software.
  • Ability to successfully complete drug screening, criminal background check, and reference verification.
