Job description

Job Title: Sr. Electrical Designer (MEP)
Location: Washington, DC
Job Type and Duration: Direct-Hire - Hybrid
Pay range: $103,000 - $140,000
Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate complex MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) design projects across a variety of industries, including Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Biotech, and Transportation
  • Design and develop innovative electrical systems that align with project requirements, codes, and best practices
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand project needs, provide expert guidance, and ensure successful project outcomes
  • Mentor and support junior engineering and design staff, promoting high-quality deliverables and professional growth
  • Partner with MEP leadership to support overall project execution, including planning, coordination, and ensuring timelines and quality standards are met


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BS, Electrical Engineering
  • A Professional Engineering License (PE)
  • 5+ years' experience in MEP design/consulting and/or Project Management
  • Complete understanding of building codes
  • Thorough design system knowledge
  • Experience with Revit - strongly preferred
