The Opportunity:
Our company is seeking an Electronic Assembler to assist with electronic assemblies and subassemblies. In this position, you will work with electrical or electronic components, such as modules and circuit boards.
Responsibilities:
  • As an Electronics assembly technician you will verify, hand place and hand solder components on printed circuit boards in accordance with engineering documentation and manufacturing processes.
  • Install mechanical and electrical components and PCB assemblies received from SMT production into system assemblies according to production drawings and written/verbal instructions.
  • Assemble various wiring and cables per drawings and perform rework/repair of non-conforming hardware per ECN's.
  • Perform inspection of assembled products.

Qualifications:
  • Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office, and ERP software
  • Familiar with soldering standards (IPC-610, IPC-620, and J-STD-001). Certification preferred.
  • 5 years minimum fine-pitch SMT soldering experience with highly-complex PCBAs
  • Ability to lift 20lbs
  • General knowledge of electrical components and component identification.
  • Basic computer skills such as emailing, record keeping, inventory management and form filing.
  • Ability to read Bills of Materials, work orders, and production specification documents.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask between the requirements and deadlines of multiple programs
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with team members.
