This position oversees regional aggregates operations, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and commercial excellence. Supports business growth under the Executive Vice President's direction, while fostering a positive workplace culture and representing the company in community and corporate initiatives.
Wage Starting: $140,000
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Bachelors' degree in mining, construction, engineering or related field with seven years of progressively responsible management experience in a construction materials setting.
  2. Experience working and managing aggregate production facilities.
  3. Proficient knowledge in computer skills and computer software relative to construction materials industry.
  4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, lead and mentor others.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including making presentations.

Preferred Requirements:
  1. Advanced degree in mining, construction, engineering or related field with ten years experience in a construction materials setting.
  2. Significant knowledge of construction materials operations with strong emphasis on math and analytical skills.

Duties and/or Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for developing and coordinating operational and commercial aggregates plans throughout the region.
  2. Responsible for developing, implementing, tracking and coordinating key performance indicators throughout the region for aggregates sales and operations.
  3. Works with regional leadership to support and promote key corporate safety, operational and commercial goals throughout the region.
  4. Works with regional leadership to support customer focus, quality standards, and margin expansion through dynamic pricing.
  5. Engaged in corporate strategic integration of growth opportunities within the region.
  6. Works to develop and maintain working relationships with major vendors and coordinates vendor alignment throughout the region.
  7. Provide leadership and vision to foster employee growth and retention.
  8. Ability to travel on short notice and for extended periods.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  1. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
  2. Strong organizational skills.
  3. Knowledge of computer systems and software.
  4. Able to work independently and under time contraints.
