Educational Background Needed
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
Essential Certifications
  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a suitable equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (with the ability to acquire these within 90 days)
