WHAT WILL YOU DO
Join our Progress Engineering Summer Internship and gain hands-on manufacturing experience where your work will directly improve shop performance and operator outcomes. You'll receive practical training in industrial engineering fundamentals, lead real improvement activities, and work alongside experienced IE mentors and shop leaders. This program offers meaningful responsibility, visible impact, and a strong pathway into IE roles - ideal for students who want to apply classroom learning to real production challenges and build a competitive resume.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
  • A willingness to work in an industrial plant environment (Monday-Friday on day shift).
  • Major in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer, Electrical, Environmental Engineering or Computer Science
  • The ability to interact in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
  • Success in working with other people or team to meet a common objective.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Officeยฎ Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn other software systems.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Currently enrolled full time at an accredited four-year college or university.
  • US citizen, permanent resident or otherwise authorized to work for Michelin on an ongoing, indefinite basis. This position is not available for immigration sponsorship.
