In addition, we run the Fresh Start mentorship program to help prepare emerging brands to go to market.

Role:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse and material flow operations at our Downers Grove and Bolingbrook (Crossroads) facilities. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound materials, ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting production, and maintaining an organized, efficient warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Pick, verify, and prepare orders for outbound shipment
  • Receive, weigh, log, and label incoming materials and outbound freight
  • Inspect incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with food quality specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Supply production with the required raw materials and packaging
  • Transfer finished goods into appropriate storage locations
  • Coordinate with inbound and outbound carriers to minimize loading and unloading time
  • Prepare Bills of Lading and required shipping documentation
  • Accurately enter system transactions related to: 
    • Shipping and receiving
    • Scrap tracking
    • Finished goods creation
    • Production supply
    • Cycle counts

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Previous warehouse experience with high computer literacy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid forklift certification (required)
  • English fluency required; conversational Spanish a plus
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
  • Operate pallet jacks and material handling equipment
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday
