We're looking for an organized, customer-focused Associate Key Account Manager to join our Sales team. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring outstanding service and seamless coordination from order placement through delivery.
What You'll Do
As an Associate Key Account Manager, you will:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned retail and wholesale customer accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and day-to-day account management.
  • Manage order entry, maintenance, and communication to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Coordinate invoicing activities and assist in resolving billing questions and discrepancies.
  • Support customer forecasting, demand planning, pricing requests, and product information needs.
  • Assist in preparing customer presentations, sales reports, and business reviews.
  • Support new customers onboarding, promotional programs, and product launches.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer business through additional products and services.
  • Coordinate customer requirements with Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, Quality Assurance, Accounting, and Marketing.
  • Monitor customer performance, service levels, sales trends, and key account metrics.
  • Analyze customer and sales data to identify growth opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Communicate customer priorities and commitments across internal departments.
  • Participate in customer meetings, business reviews, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Travel: as needed to support customer relationships and business development.
  • Provide timely follow-up and resolution to customer questions and concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, Agriculture, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in account management, customer service, sales support, or a related business function preferred.
  • Experience in produce, agriculture, food distribution, retail, or a related industry is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
