Our focus on patient experience, infection prevention, and operational excellence enables us to improve linen quality while reducing overall program costs for our healthcare partners.With HLAC-accredited facilities and a commitment to continuous improvement, NOVO is redefining how healthcare linen programs are managed across the country.NOVO Health Services is seeking a hands-on 1st Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within the Soil department, driving performance across safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement.This role is responsible for overseeing a team of production associates on 1st shift, ensuring efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, and consistent service delivery to our healthcare partners.The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, develops teams, and drives operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & ProductionLead daily 1st shift production operations within the Soil department to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goalsEnsure production schedules are met while optimizing labor utilization and workflow efficiencyPartner with Maintenance, Quality, and Plant Leadership to address operational issues and improve performanceLeadership & Team DevelopmentSupervise, coach, and develop production associates to promote engagement, accountability, and teamworkSupport onboarding, training, and performance management of production staffAssist with staffing, scheduling, and coverage planningSafety & ComplianceEnforce all safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and NOVO standardsMaintain a strong safety-first culture and proactively address hazards and unsafe behaviorsQuality & PerformanceMonitor quality standards to ensure products meet NOVO and customer requirementsIdentify and support continuous improvement opportunitiesTrack and communicate key production and safety metricsSupport standard work, audits, and compliance initiativesQualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferredMinimum 5 years of experience in a production supervision or industrial/manufacturing environmentDemonstrated knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety protocolsProven experience leading hourly teams and supporting employee developmentStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to lead in a fast-paced, safety-critical environmentPreferredLean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar Continuous Improvement certificationExperience leading 5S initiatives and Kaizen events in a high-volume environmentPrior experience in a healthcare-adjacent or highly regulated manufacturing environment is a plusExperience using ERP or WMS software to track production data and laborBilingual (English/Spanish) communication skillsKey CompetenciesProven ability to lead hourly production teams and drive accountabilityStrong problem-solving and organizational skillsAbility to lead in a fast-paced, safety-critical environmentWorking knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety protocolsComfortable giving and receiving feedback and supporting employee developmentPhysical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 35 lbsAbility to work in a noisy, industrial environmentWillingness to work 1st shift hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededWhat we can offer you as a full-time associate:Competitive payPaid HolidaysPaid Time Off Program (PTO)401(k) w/Employer MatchFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Health Savings Account (HSA)Medical, Dental, and Vision ProgramsBasic Life/AD&D InsuranceLong-Term Disability (LTD)Why work for Novo Health Services?NOVO Health Services strives to be the employer of choice in the hospital sterile and hygienically clean linen industry.
