Dialysis Registered Nurse

Job Type: Travel

Profession: RN

Specialty: Dialysis

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours

Experience: Minimum years of experience required

License: GA or Compact license

Certifications: AHA BLS

Must-Have: Dialysis experience, ability to float between locations as needed

Description: Fresenius machines and biomed on site for repair. Each location has an isolation room if needed. Dialysis is performed in treatment suites with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3:1. The nurse may float to the ICU to perform treatments at the bedside for a ratio of 1:1. ELTACH treatments are only done at the bedside and have a 1:1 ratio. Dialysis required for peritoneal/CRRT/CVVHD. On-call scheduled for emergencies only during nights and Sundays. No treatments scheduled after 9 PM or on Sundays.
