Your role as an RN
As an Outpatient Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate, high-quality, direct care for patients living with End-Stage Kidney Disease (EKSD) who rely on dialysis treatment. You will assess patient needs, monitor dialysis treatments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best possible outcomes.
This role is of the first step into our Clinical Advancement Program (CAP), which provides a structured pathway for career development. As you gain experience and complete CAP requirements, you build specialized expertise and grow your career.

Your responsibilities
  • Dialysis care: Monitor and provide safe, effective hemodialysis to patients; administer medications; assist with emergencies.
  • Patient assessment & documentation: Evaluate patients before, during, and after treatment; record outcomes; adjust and document care plans.
  • Patient & family education: Teach patients and families about kidney disease, treatment, and self-care.
  • Care coordination: Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Ensure lab collection and process procedures are adhered to.
  • Quality & safety: Support facility initiatives, maintain standards, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Team collaboration: Support local team, help to train and onboard new staff members; interact with facility, hospitals, and physicians.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school
  • NCLEX certification
  • CGFNS Visa Screen Certificate
  • Current U.S. RN state licensure
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Nephrology nursing experience
  • Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred

Work environment
This role involves direct patient care in a dialysis clinic, including standing, assisting patients, and working with equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be available. The position may require travel to training sites or other facilities.
