Teaching schedule:  Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM 

Start Date: Sept 9, 2026


Commitment: School year (September to June)  


About the Opportunity 


We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging French Instructor to lead a new after-school French program. This program is designed for students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade and aims to introduce children to the French language and the diverse cultures of the Francophone world through interactive, age-appropriate activities. 


The ideal candidate enjoys working with young learners and is passionate about creating a fun, welcoming environment that sparks curiosity and enthusiasm for learning French. 


Responsibilities 

  • Teach introductory French lessons to elementary-aged students (K-5).
  • Foster students' interest in French language and Francophone cultures.
  • Lead engaging activities, games, songs, and storytelling sessions.
  • Create a positive and interactive classroom atmosphere.
  • Adapt provided materials and resources to meet students' needs.

  • Teaching experience, tutoring experience, or relevant educational background preferred
  • Enthusiastic, creative, and reliable
  • Ability to commit through the school year
