Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant to join our Enterprise Applications team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing SAP TM solutions to streamline transportation planning, freight management, logistics execution, and supply chain operations. This role requires strong functional expertise, stakeholder management skills, and experience on end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations and support engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • SAP TM Implementation & Support: Lead end-to-end SAP TM implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects; gather and analyze business requirements; configure transportation planning, freight order management, freight booking, carrier selection, charge calculation, and freight settlement
  • Business Process Optimization: Design scalable transportation management solutions; improve planning efficiency and freight cost optimization; support logistics execution and shipment tracking; identify process improvements
  • Integration & Testing: Collaborate with technical teams on SAP TM integrations with S/4HANA, EWM, MM, SD, GTS, and external carrier systems; prepare functional specifications and test scenarios; support SIT, UAT, and go-live
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business users, supply chain teams, and project stakeholders; conduct user training and knowledge transfer; provide functional support and issue resolution
Required Skills
  • 8–10 years of SAP Functional Consulting experience
  • Minimum 2–3 end-to-end SAP TM implementation projects
  • Strong expertise in SAP TM on SAP S/4HANA
  • Knowledge of transportation planning and freight management processes
  • Experience with logistics and supply chain operations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP TM Certification
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Retail, Logistics, or Supply Chain industries
  • Exposure to global transportation and freight operations
