POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for Fairs & Events freight management & operations for Away Games for Schaumburg/ORD location in USA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following is intended to describe the general nature and level work being performed.  It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.

  • Operations Management:  Responsible for end-to-end Fairs & Events Show Management - ensuring timely handling of all Fairs & Events shipments, pre-alerts, document verification as per F&E Shipping Instructions & Country rules, coordinating with customs brokerage team for timely customs clearance - TIB, Permanent, ATA Carnet, Others, timely deliveries, export formalities including freight bookings, re-export documentation, customs clearance and all related formalities, timely communication with overseas agents / net-work / inhouse offices.
  • Onsite Operation & Show Management: Preparation of Manifest (Show log), onsite management, planning and support - meeting organizers, agents, exhibitors, vendors, coordinating with onsite service providers / unions, timely deliveries and updates for inbound & vice versa for outbound.
  • Financial Management: Timely billing and collection including job opening and show closure.
  • Lead management: Follow-up on exhibitor list and securing business , ELS etc. Timely quotation to all away games exhibitors from USA to overseas fairs and events.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Degree+
  • Fairs & Events experience, preferable +2 years Freight Forwarding experience - Air, Sea, Road and Customs clearance - import & export
  • Good communication skills
  • Willing to work for flexible working hours as per show requirements
  • Willing to travel to show venues
  • Team player

For this position, the expected base pay range is $70,000.00 - $85.000.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
