Warehouse Associate (Picking & Packing)
Location: Miramar, fl
Type of Contract: Temp-to-Hire
Type of Work: On-site
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
  • First shift begins at 5:00 AM
  • Second shift begins at 7:00 AM
  • Final schedule to be determined
  • Overtime is expected and may extend the workday until 7:00 PM-8:00 PM
  • Rotating Sunday schedule required (approximately every 2-3 weeks)
Description
 
Our client is seeking dependable and motivated Warehouse Associates to join a fast-paced warehouse operation specializing in order fulfillment. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders while maintaining productivity, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety. The role is performed in a cooler/freezer warehouse environment and requires experience operating warehouse equipment and working efficiently to meet daily production goals.
 
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Operate RF scanners to process inventory transactions and order fulfillment.
  • Safely operate Sit-Down Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks to transport materials.
  • Load, unload, stage, and move products throughout the warehouse.
  • Verify order accuracy and maintain inventory integrity.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies, operational procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Work efficiently in a cooler/freezer warehouse environment.
  • Support warehouse operations by performing additional duties as assigned.
  • Maintain reliable attendance and work overtime as required to meet operational demands.
Requirements
  • Previous warehouse and/or order-picking experience required.
  • Experience using RF scanners.
  • Experience operating a Sit-Down Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack.
  • Ability to work in a cooler/freezer warehouse environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the workday.
  • Flexible to work overtime as business needs require.
  • Availability to work rotating Sundays.
  • Steel-toe boots are required (employee must provide their own).
