Job description

Position Summary:

The Freezer Order Selector is responsible for accurately picking orders using an RF scan gun and operating hand pallet jacks to move materials throughout the warehouse and shipping line. This position works in a cold storage environment and plays a key role in order fulfillment and warehouse productivity.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Pick product from inventory using an RF scanner in cold storage

  • Ensure correct SKU and quantity are selected based on order requirements

  • Use RF scanner to input data into the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

  • Palletize products and transport pallets to the staging area using a hand pallet jack

  • Meet or exceed daily production and accuracy standards

  • Follow all SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards and safety protocols

  • Maintain reliable and consistent attendance


Education and/or Experience:
  • 6 months of warehouse or order picking experience preferred


Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work in cold environments (-10F to 40F)

  • Ability to stand, bend, and walk for 8+ hours per shift

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. (30 lbs. consistently)
