Job description

 ADUSA D&T Flex Shift

As a means to protect the 24-hr distribution clock and ensure ADUSA D&T is serving the changing needs of our brand partner - Food Lion, we are creating a Flex Shift. The shift will have a combination of required and preferred expectations for associates to qualify for and maintain their assignment to this shift. This shift is available only as an internal posting for full-time associates - greater than 14 weeks of employment.

This shift will exist for an indetermined period; ADUSA leadership will evaluate the shift for effectiveness, size, and function on an on-going basis.

 

Schedule

3:00 AM - 3:00 PM - or until shift is complete

Rotating every other weekend off between two crews.

Required Expectations

  • Must be outside of probationary period - 14+ weeks of full-time employment
  • No active Safety violations (Disciplinary Action)
  • Must assist other departments (as designated below) whenever requested

    • NOTE: If freezer is a designated department, associates must keep freezer gear on campus and available daily
  • Must maintain 100% or above weekly average
    • No more than 2 < 100% weeks in a 3-month period
  • On-standard job codes (Selectors, Lift Drivers, Loaders)
  • Must be able to work assigned schedule without accommodation
  • Must work your entire shift (12 hours) or until shift is complete

 

Preferred Expectations

  • No active PCFs on file
  • No more than 5 attendance points on your record
  • No Audit Errors on file in the last 3 months
  • No more than 1 wrapping memo in a month (not wrapped or X banding)
  • Must demonstrate positive time management:
    • Sign on within the allotted 10 minutes (In for Day)
    • Must adhere to all break/lunch times
    • When transferring departments, you have 10 minutes
    • Produce at demonstrated effectiveness until the EOS
