Job description

Overview
As an Angiography Technologist, you are called upon everyday to apply your skills in medical imaging to provide exceptional patient care in order to identify and begin the process to improve the health of our community members in need. Imagine performing this critical work in a brand new Cath Lab, designed to optimally serve the needs of our patients and our employees alike.
The EP x-ray technologist will be assisting both in the x-ray and procedural scrub roles during EP cases. The person filling this role will not only perform fluoroscopy and acquisition during EP cases (ablations and device implants), but will also be proficient in the various consoles used in the wide array of procedures within the EP Service Line. Newly hired into this position, one will find opportunity for growth, both within the scope of EP as well as the other Catheterization Laboratory service lines. We are looking for a motivated, caring and curious person to fulfill this role.

Your skills as an Angiography Technologist will help to fulfill that goal. As you provide imaging procedures according to physician's orders, you will be extending professional, expert care to the patients we serve.
Below are the respective 2026 pay ranges for the progressive experience levels:
  • Tech Level I: $48.69 min. to $69.65 max.
  • Tech Level II: $51.13 min. to $73.12 max.
  • Tech Level III: $53.68 min. to $76.77 max.
  • Tech Level IV: $56.37 min. to $80.61 max.

In addition to the base wage, here is a glimpse at other aspects of our total compensation and benefits for this position:
  • Relocation: This position is eligible for relocation assistance for those moving from outside the area
  • Shift Differential: evening - $2.50 /hr, night - $4.30 /hr, weekend - $3.00 /hr
  • Standby Pay: $15 /hr
  • Cath Lab specific: dedicated sleep rooms cath lab team located in department and dedicated EVS staff for room turnovers.

Responsibilities
Angiography Technologists perform imaging procedures according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regard to exposure factors, imaging technique, and patient treatment.
Angiography, Cardiovascular and Electrophysiology Technologists provide the highest quality care using the most advanced technologies for diagnosis and treatment in our Cardiovascular and Hybrid labs located at Emanuel Medical Center.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program.
Experience:
Level I - One-year previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization preferred.
Level II - 1-year of previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization, ACLS, BLS, applicable state LRT and ARRT-R required. You must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table equipment and demonstrate knowledge of Emanuel Cath Lab product inventory.
Level III - 2-years previous experience in the field of Angiography/Cardiac Catheterization is required. You must demonstrate proficiency in the operation of Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table equipment and demonstrate knowledge of Emanuel Cath Lab product inventory.
Current applicable state LRT, ARRT-R, and ACLS is required. RCIS, CI, VI is preferred. Current American Heart Association BLS is also required.
Level IV - 3-years of previous experience in the field of Angiography/ Catheterization required. You must demonstrate expert proficiency in the operation of Emanuel Cath Lab x-ray table and equipment and demonstrate expert knowledge of Emanuel Cath Lab product inventory.
Current applicable state LRT, ARRT-R, and ACLS is required. RCIS, CI, VI is required. Current American Heart Association BLS is also required.
Licensure
  • Current applicable state licensure for Radiological Technologist (LRT) required.
  • Current national registration in Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
  • BLS required.
  • ACLS required - Levels II, III and IV.
  • ACLS required for Level I within six months of hire.
  • Advanced certification (RCIS, CI, VI) preferred - Levels I, II and III.

Pay Range
USD $48.69 - USD $80.61 /Hr.
