Join us at Curaleaf to be part of a high-growth, purpose-driven company that champions corporate social responsibility through our Rooted in Good initiative, supporting community outreach and positive change. Here, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, drive innovation, and help shape the future of cannabis.
Retail Systems Analyst
Location: The candidate must be located in either Stamford, CT; Wayne, PA or Scottsdale, AZ
Travel requirements: 25%
About the Role
At Curaleaf, we're building scalable systems and processes that support our growing retail footprint, and our products are at the center of it all. As a Retail Systems Analyst, you'll play a critical role in ensuring products are accurately created, maintained, and supported across our retail systems before they ever reach the store shelves.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and bringing structure to complex processes. You'll partner closely with Retail, Supply Chain, IT, and Merchandising teams to maintain product integrity, support system enhancements, and ensure stores have the information they need to operate efficiently and compliantly.
If you're highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working behind the scenes to improve processes and support business operations, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact across a multi-state retail organization
What You'll Do
  • Own product creation, setup, and maintenance within MJ Freeway and other seed-to-sale systems across assigned markets.
  • Ensure new products are accurately configured and available in retail systems prior to arriving in stores.
  • Partner with Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, and IT teams to gather, validate, and maintain product information including pricing, cost, product attributes, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain product master data and ensure consistency, accuracy, and regulatory compliance across all retail locations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product setup requests and product-related system support.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product creation workflows, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Support store teams through training, documentation, and communication related to product setup processes and system updates.
  • Assist with the implementation and adoption of new retail systems, tools, and product management processes.
  • Analyze large data sets to troubleshoot issues, identify trends, and support business decisions.
  • Travel up to 25% as needed to support business initiatives and market needs.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in product data management, merchandising support, retail operations, inventory management, or a similar analytical role within the cannabis industry.
  • At least 1 year of ERP product maintenance experience.
  • Experience working with seed-to-sale platforms such as MJ Freeway, Metrc, BioTrack, or similar systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to maintain high levels of data accuracy in fast-paced environments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with large data sets, pivot tables, lookups, and data validation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience partnering across multiple departments.
  • Understanding of retail product lifecycle management, inventory processes, merchandising, and product data governance.
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement and operational excellence.

Even Better If You Have
  • Experience with cannabis POS and eCommerce platforms such as Dutchie, Jane, SWEED, or similar systems.
  • Advanced experience with business intelligence, reporting, and data warehouse platforms.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate insights and recommendations to various audiences.
  • Experience supporting multi-state retail operations.
  • Knowledge of cannabis compliance requirements and regulated retail environments.
  • Experience helping implement new systems, tools, or retail processes across an organization.
  • A passion for using data to improve operational efficiency and enhance the retail experience.
